It’s not often that a driver can make their debut in a NASCAR® national series race and have the crowd chant their name after the checkered flag falls, but that’s
exactly what happened to Brenden “Butterbean” Queen at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
Queen, a 2023 CARS Tour Late Model winner at the historic North Wilkesboro track, made his first start in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series® with TRICON
Garage and wowed the crowd with an impressive fourth-place finish. With the support of Best Repair on the No. 1 Toyota Tundra, Queen was quickest in the pre-race
practice session. He started the race in 26th due to qualifying being rained out, but Queen put on a show in the race that was appreciated by “Bean Nation” in the
crowd.
