Jeff Gordon drove a special retro “Pepsi Challenger” #24 paint scheme Chevrolet Impala in Talladega on April 26, 2009. Inspired by Darrell Waltrip’s Pepsi Challenger of the 1980’s, this car features retro Pepsi logos and a white and yellow scheme. This special one-time paint scheme was produced by Motorsports Authentics under the Action brand in a 1:24 and a 1/64 scale die cast in very limited quantities.
Action Platinum Series is a 1:24-scale limited edition collectible that includes over 100 total parts, with a die-cast body and chassis. Other features also include: hood and trunk open, manufacturer-specific engine detail, accurate header contour and simulated exhaust openings. Each 1:24-scale die-cast will also contain a DIN™ visible through the back window, for registration. Each die-cast is packaged in a custom printed box.
