Ron Fellows is a Racing Legend in all of NASCAR history as well as a resident of Mississauga Ontario, and carries a distinguished racing record throughout his career! Ron Fellows is the first non-American to ever win the NASCAR Nationwide Series at anytime in NASCAR history! Ron’s last victory marked his fourth NASCAR Nationwide series win, all coming on road courses. As well as tied him for first in the Nationwide Series for most road course wins. Then to add to that, in 2008 at an event in Montreal he passed himself up by winning the NASCAR Nationwide race! This is the race that I spoke about above, where he holds the title still to this day! Canadian Tire opened there first store in Toronto, Ontario on September 15th in 1925 by William Billes and Alfred Billles. Then within 10 years the first official associate store opened in Hamilton, Ontario in 1934!! The stores continued growing and within the next 3 years the store and head office was moved to Yonge St. and Church St. This location remains as an associate store in the chain today and has been around since 1937! Years before this happened, they issued there first catalogue, becoming one of Canada’s most famous mail order businesses by 1950!
