Martin will run this one time special paint scheme on his No 56 Napa Toyota during the Sprint Cup Series on October 16th. Martin is well know for both wins in the Nationwide Series Championships in 2004 and 2005 . While competing in the Sprint Cup Series this year at Charlotte Motor speedway, Martin will feature The Cure on his No 56 in support of Breast Cancer. For this year’s 2010 Season Martin Truex Jr will drive the No 56, which what the number his father drove during his time in the Grand National Division. He formerly drove for Ganassi Racing where he drove the No 55 while competing in the Sprint Cup Series. This NASCAR Diecast is a limited edition as this is Martin’s first time to hold this one time pink paint scheme to show his support for Breast Cancer. His No 56 Toyota will also carry the known pink ribbon with different shades of pink though out this Diecast collectable. Martin raced in the Daytona 500 for his first race with Micheal Waltrip Racing and ended up finishing sixth, even after a series of setbacks the following 3 weeks. Then while Micheal was competing at the Dover Speedway he earned his 5th career pole. Let’s just say he is off to a great start while racing the family number(56) for the first time. This Martin Truex Jr Diecast is in support of the Susan G. Komen For The Cure, however he will still carry NAPA on this paint scheme as that is his primarily sponsor. NAPA is an auto parts distributor that contributes to both corporately and independently owned auto parts sores. NAPA has been a played a part in NASCAR for quite some time sponsoring a couple different drivers since 2001! NAPA is also an annual supporter of Susan G. Komen with their All Out for the Cure campaign for breast cancer awareness. The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation also known as Komen is an organization supporting breast cancer research. Currently, Komen is the leading catalyst in the fight against breast cancer with over 100,000 volunteers!! So with this said Micheal is proud to jump on the track with this one time paint scheme on his No 56 in the upcoming event for the Sprint Cup Series. This No 56 NAPA Susan G. Komen Diecast is a special edition with limited quantities, and currently is available on both a 1:24 & 1:64 scale!
