Jeff Gordon,DuPont, and Hendrick Motorsports will join with the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund during this race on September 26th in honor of officers who have lost their life while serving this country!! The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial is the Nation’s Monument located in Washington, DC and is in honors to all officers who have died in the call of duty. This is a very special paint scheme that Jeff Gordon is very proud to get on the tracks in the upcoming event at Dover International Speedway in the Sprint Cup Series. This remarkable NASCAR Diecast is produced by Motorsports Authentics and is located under the action platinum series line. This Memorial Fund was established by former U.S. Representative Mario Biaggi who was a police officer for 23 years in New York City! Mario was wounded in the line of duty over 10 times before he retired in 1965. This monument is to tell the story of American law enforcement through exhibits, collections, education and research! The museum honors the nearly 19,000 U.S. law enforcement officers that have put their life out there to help others!! So this Jeff Gordon Diecast will be one to add to our collection as we all support what our Law Enforcement has done for us! On October 14th of this year groundbreaking news of a new museum will start to take place. This museum will be funded by private donations and a portion of all proceeds from the Diecast sales will also go to support these plans!
