AJ Allmendinger Diecast Richard Petty Tribute 1/24 2010

AJ Allmendinger ran this special paint scheme in last weekends race at Dover International Speedway! His No 43 car was featuring the notable throwback paint scheme as a tribute to Richard Petty’s introduction into the NASCAR Hall of Fame! This AJ Allmendinger Diecast Richard Petty Tribute is produced by Motorsports Authentics under the Action Platinum Series Line.  This is a special edition with limited quantities produced as this paint scheme was solely dedicated to Richard Petty. Richard was called the King and was well- known for winning the NASCAR Championship seven times.  Dale Earnhardt and Richard are the only two drivers in NASCAR history to accomplish this so far. He also hold the record of 200 wins during his career, and won the Daytona 500 seven times as well. This NASCAR Diecast is the exact same colors Petty Himself Drove in 1984 for the Winston Cup Series. AJ currently drives for Richard Petty Motorsports in his Best Buy Ford Fusion. He is best known for his accomplishments in the Champ Car World Series, and in 2006 he announced that he would be competing in NASCAR and that year he competed in his very first race in the Nextel Cup Series.  Seems as he drives for his team,  AJ Allmendinger was proud to jump out on the track featuring these unforgettable colors as a tribute to Richard Petty during last weekends event held in the Sprint Cup Series 2010. This collectable is only available in 1:24 scale at this time, and will have the production totals printed on a silver sticker on the box.
