NASCAR Hall of Fame
In 2006 it was determined by the committee itself that they needed an actual building for the Hall of Fame. They chose the location to be in Charlotte N.C. by popular vote, and started to take action the following year. The doors recently opened in May of 2010, and was a ground breaking $160 million for the NASCAR facility. In addition, there is a 20-story office building that opened in May of 2009.
