Martin Traux Jr.
Martin Traux Jr. was born on June 29th 1980 in Ocean County, New Jersey and grew up in Stafford Township. His father was a former NASCAR driver for Busch Grand National Division North Series Martin Traux!  Also racing in the family is his younger brother Ryan who races in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. Martin began his racing career in 2000, where he won 5 races in the first 4 years for his family owned team. He also won the Nationwide Series in 2004 and 2005, and also a victory at the final NASCAR event held at Nazareth Speedway. In 2006 he started racing full-time in the Nextel Cup Series, where he had two top five finishes but only finished 19th in points. He then finished 10th in 2007 at the NASCAR Nextel All-Star Open securing him a spot in the 2007 Nextel All-Star Challenge. In 2009 Martin left Earnhardt Ganassi Racing and went to drive for Michael Waltrip Racing. In his first race for the 2010 season racing for Waltrip he placed 6th in the Daytona 500. Truex Jr is one of the most dangerous drivers behind the wheel currently. He has an axe to grind, a goal in sight, as well as nothing to loose and the machinery at his hands to make something happen. He currently holds 26th place for the standings while competing in this year 2010 Sprint Cup Series. He makes a statement saying that Nice guys finish last and get pushed around, and that he was tired of being pushed around! He is gonna make a change.
