Kevin Harvick
Kevin Harvick is an American NASCAR driver and started racing and showing interest by the age 7. He continued racing for about 10 years and got involved in NASCAR in 1995. He started in the Truck Series and by 2001 was also competing in the Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series. In 2001, Kevin made NASCAR history by becoming the 1st driver to run full-time on both Busch & Cup Series, and was the first to be named Winston Cup Rookie of the Year, the same year that he earned the Busch Series Championship. The 2007 season started out with an amazing sweep of both of the season opening races at Daytona 500! Then in 2008 he raced his way to his 3rd consecutive Chase for the Championship and finished 4th in the Sprint Cup Points. On the nationwide side, Kevin Harvick finished 7th in owner points standing and earned 3 Craftsman Truck Series wins. Kevin Continues to raise the bar for his fellow drivers and the fans continue to hunt for his diecast cars and racing memorabilia. This year during the Nationwide Practice Kevin set the pace behind the wheel of his new No 33 Pool and Spa Heaters Chevy Impala with a speed of 187.477 at the Daytona International Speedway. This was just during a practice, so lets see what Kevin will do during this upcoming season. He has earned 3,954,000 dollars thus far while competing in the Sprint Cup Series!
2010
He currently competes in all three major series for NASCAR. In the Sprint Cup he races for Richard Childress Racing driving the No 29 Shell/Penzoil Chevy Impala. For the Truck Series and Nationwide Series Kevin only competes part-time and holds his own cars and sponsorship. For the Sprint Cup 2010 season he started the same way he did in 2009, with a win in the Budweiser Shootout, which is a non-point event that takes place before the opening season at the Daytona 500. He led the most laps during the Daytona 500, but ended up falling short and finished 7th. He followed up his 7th start for the year at Daytona with a 2nd at the Auto Club Speedway and in vegas the following week along with a Nationwide win. On July 3, Harvick captured his second win of the year by winning the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona and Aarons being his first for the season. Then Last weekend durring the Carfax 400 at michigan he captured his third win of the year. Kevin Harvick locks into the Chase for 4th time now for his NASCAR career. Next year (2011) Harvick, will no longer have Shell-Pennzoil as his primary sponsor as they will be on the number 22 car with driver Kurt Busch at Penske Racing. Since Harvick will need a sponsor for the 2011 and is currently looking rumor is that Budweiser is looking to close a deal to sponsor him and the 29 team for Richard Childress Racing starting next year(2011).

Also Kevin won hisis first career Pole in the Camping World Truck Series at Gateway International Raceway (the race he also won) in his own #2 Chevrolet Silverado, it adds Harvick to the few NASCAR drivers who have won a pole award and a race in each of NASCAR's three major series.
