While competing in the Nationwide Series last weekend 7/3 he pulled out a win in his the No 3 Wrangler! He was very proud to race in this blue and yellow Chevy with the special paint scheme his father made famous. And he did it, he won. Now he says he will never race that car again, no more 3 for me! So with that said lets continue with the upcoming race at Chicagoland. This will be his 22nd start for the Sprint Cup Series this year for the 2010 Season. He has had a great season this year, and has high
hopes to finish it off with a bang a in Miami at Homestead Raceway
during the Ford 400! Earnhardt Jr. continues to hold the record with
Bill Elliot for having the Most popular driver award seven different
times since 1956! This year will mark the 11th season that he has
competed in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series! He has had 39 total victories
from 1998-2007 while competing in the Nationwide and Spint Cup Series!
He is the 3rd generation of NASCAR Champions and deffinetely follows
the legend of his father, which was a seven-time Cup Champion and the
winner of over 70 races! Earnhardt Jr holds a place on the NASCAR’s
all-time winners list placing 39th after his 18th victory, however he
has 6 non-point wins as well as 8 pole positions!! Dale Earnhardt Jr made one of the biggest decisions of his NASCAR
career as he signed with reowned team owner Rick Heddrick in 2008!
Throughout his career he has always been a full-time driver and was
solely within the confines of the family-owned business!! Since this
career change there has been a total of 9 wins, 4 in both the 2008
& 2009 season! Late in the 2009 season the team signed Danica
Patrick to a partial schedule to start the following year for the 2010
season! Dale just celebrated his 35th birthday, and is still getting younger. As a famous NASCAR driver, lets all celebrate this with him and remember his 7 time championship father during his special day.
