Carl Edwards was
born on Aug 15, 1979 in Columbia, Mo and started in the Truck Series in 2001
and also raced in one Busch race that year. In 2003, Edwards ran a full time
truck schedule where he finished 8th in points. Carl also won the
Rookie of the Year honors in 2003. He was able to finished 4th in
points in the truck series in 2004 and ran one Busch series race in a car
sponsored by Mac Tools. Then in 2005 Carl ran in all 3 NASCAR series Cup, Truck
and Busch. He was the first driver to win a race in all three racing venues
during the same season. By 2007 he won his first Busch series Championship and
followed it with his best Cup finish the following season. Carl is going to be
a Daddy soon and has a good reason to put the pedal to the metal and win some
races for the family and team. Edwards held his streak of starting inside the
top 10 for 16 consecutive races during the 2010 season. He will also start on
the front row for the sixth time while competing in the sprint cup series.(2010)

Fenway Racing while competing in the 2010 Sprint Cup Series This year Edwards
faced official penalties due to the feud between him and Brad Keselowski that
has continued for several years now. He hit the side of Brad Keselowski on the
last lap causing him to spin out as Edwards took the victory. He faces a 25,000
dollar fine, and was also placed on probation for the rest of his 2010 season.
As a team they were deducted 60 points, and an additional 60 in Champion
